got home today for a wonderful 3 day weekend.  ya know  97 degrees outside by a lake with a hot wind blowing by... perfect.

first night we cooked ribs. way more than we needed.
second night we planned on a prime rib roast.
first night, we got all set up,  DH thought it would be great to bring one of those tall dorm size fridge's.  and it was perfect.  he set it up on top of a table outside the door.  it wouldn't fit through the camper door..
we loaded it up with our breakfast eggs, lunch meat, woo hoo no more wet baggies from the cooler.
we got this down now!!  we are professional campers now.

went to bed, i started my crock pot breakfast casserole,  sniffin that all night while we slept....

the puppy who sleeps with me is 6 mos old now.  middle of the night she was awake which was odd.  i told her night night and she went back down,  she was restless....

next morning.   we realized the coons had a wonderful feast.
they ate the left over ribs, which was a full cooked rack.
hauled all of that off,  hauled off the lunch meat and cheese,  ate 6 eggs, luckily the prime rib roast was in the cooler on lots of ice. we felt it kept cooler in there.

wow.
the fridge was a good idea and not too much trouble,  did keep sodas cold.
great for the eggs.  bad for coons.

problem is,  when i made the  breakfast casserole, and put the trash in that little bag,  left over  bell pepper, onion, hashbrown bag,  bacon wrapper...
the little  scrap trash bag from that fell out of the camper when we hauled other trash to the dumpster,  so i assume they smelt that and went after it.
  niiiiice.
PBJ for everyone the next day, no ribs, no lunch meat, no cheese.

If animals didn't get is any campers in the area would have, sounds like a feast
