Thinking of buying a Jayco

My last camper was a 94 Jayco Eagle 10.  An older friend recently offered me a 99 or 2000 model Jayco popup.  I know that it is from the Premier line with a fiberglass body, gaucho sofa, ac/heat, fridge and stove, outside shower, slide in cabinet, electric jack system, king and queen beds and appear to be in real nice shape.  He bought it several years ago but has never camped in it.  He is asking $2,000 for it.  Does anyone know the name of this Pemier line camper and is this a good deal?

I don't know about that specific make or model, but if everything works, the canvas is good, the floor is solid, and it's got nice extras like big beds, a/c and a shower then $2000 sounds like a great deal!

We have a 1999 Jayco 12FSO.  (I have been told that so stands for slideout).  Ours has king and queen beds, the shower/potty combo and the outside shower, the slideout and gaucho.  We don't have the electric jacks though.  Hope this helps.

If everything is nice, I suggest getting it quick because it won't last long at that price.

I have Jayco brochures from 1988 to 2009,  I can check it out and let you know if you want, let me know.   I just bought my 2nd Jayco 2 weeks ago.  J-Bird

After some checking around I found out that the Jayco I am considering is a 99 model Heritage Acadia.  My friend set it up for me and the floor, ceiling vinyl, as well as electrical and plumbing all are in good shape.  Only thing unusual is that there are no brackets under the bed ends to fasten the support bars.  You have to use bolts to anchor into the plywood.  Still for a fiberglass camper for $2000 would I be wrong to let it pass?:)
