Does anyone have any ideas for an April Camp-out???

It may have to be a private CG....ReserveAmerica is a mess. I checked the few available CGs for March reservations and there are just a few spotty sites available in any of the CGs. Certainly not suitable for a rally.

I thought that a private CG might be more suitable......any ideas????

I know about that camp-out. I was thinking of later in April. :D

Here are some other ideas.

1] I would like to go back to Joshua tree.
2] We have not been to Lake Casitas in a long time.
3] One time we had a rally at the KOA in Banning and everyone enjoyed that place. More of a private type CG then your normal KOA.

I liked Black rock the kids really loved the big rocks to climb on but we went the end of April then and that's a little late in the year due to snakes being out....Just ask Lori......Heeheeee
We would love a April campout we can never make the Easter rally so plan it and we'll be there.....

added note we really liked the Banning KOA nice pool and the CG was very nice for a KOA like Brad said......

I also like Black Rock at Joshua Tree - we went there in late March in 08 - let's go back - Kim and Richard / wagonmasters

Hey Everyone
Although we're not official, paying members of the group, if you're considering a private CG, might I suggest Pinezanita? You can check out their website at www.pinezanita.com DW and I have been camping there for several years (it's our personal favorite). It's only 4 miles to Julian, if apple pie and curio shopping is something you like to do. There's lot's of other things to do in the area, as well.

I think the question is:why aren't you paying members of the group?

Nice looking campground, but what do you do after 11pm if we can not have a fire :(
sccampers always have a fire late into the night ;)
