John and LeeAnn, Thanks for the forecast--what a surprise, rain!  The latest is that '58 Air is cancelling because Baby '58 Air number 2 is about ready to make an appearance!!  Woohoo!

I think that if we had gone to the dark side by now, we would join in on this one.  Just don't want to put away a wet tent and gear with many days after being wet also.

Nothing to report yet on Baby Girl Holcomb...

We had quite a rally at FF in the downpour with gale force winds.  Our awning including our two cement filled coffee cans flew over our trailer this a.m....Fortunately no injuries or property damage but it was pretty wild. The weather finally broke just past noon so we were able to pack up and head home.  Our non-ScCamper friends had the entire Twilight Zone series on DVD so the weather gave us a chance to watch several episodes in the darksiders RV (flat screen with surround sound--not bad).  We had some meals out (dinner at The Hitching Post and breakfast at Ellen's Pancake House), managed a dinner BBQ and breakfast potluck, and did some wine tasting at Gainey and at Beakman's...so it was all good.  The campground has definitely been spruced up since last year.  All the sites have new sod, new hook up posts and are freshly paved pull throughs.  Definitely wasn't full for this holiday weekend (I guess some people pay attention to the weather forecast!)  I hear storms are predicted through this week...who's going camping next?:D
