Pizza on the BBQ is great. How you cook it depends a little bit on what you have available. We have one of those "pizza stones" that works great on the gas grill. It would probably also work in a round kettle grill pretty good with charcoal.

Basically, you are using a closed up BBQ as an oven. You have to arrange the heat source, whether gas or charcoal, for indirect heat, meaning no heat directly under the pizza.

With a pre-heated gas grill we've cooked a pizza on the pizza stone in about 15 minutes. Yum!

I just did a Google search for "Pizza on the BBQ" and got 75.4M hits back. Lot's of good recipes and cooking info out there.

Easy way for a gas grill:

Heat your grill on HIGH!!!
Lightly oil your grate with cooking oil (fold a paper towel and hold with tongs)
Turn off heat (or it will burn)
Apply pizza
Bake until golden brown and delicious.

Wicked lazy - buy a premade fresh pizza, add toppings
Easy - buy premade crust and add sauce and choice of toppings
Better - most mega marts have premade dough you can buy

BBQ Chicken Pizza
Left over BBQ chicken from the night before
Mix half bbq sauce and half pizza sauce
Leftover bacon from breakfast (all right there's never left over bacon, so cook extra bacon at breakfast and hide it)
Chopped red onion
Grated cheese of choice
