Camping doesn't.

YEP!!!!!!! That'd do it....for sure.....ever think about buying a boat and sailing around the world?? :p

Why?

Because of all the great times I had as a kid camping at my grandpa's place by the lake.

Because of the great camp outs I had in the Cub Scouts/Weblo/Boy Scouts. Scout recipe: Foil Packs: hamburger, onion, carrots, and chunks of potatoes. Wrap in foil and throw on the coals till done.

Float Trips with friends & girlfriend. Beer and vodka surprise. What's the surprise? It's all vodka.

Listening to your buddy swear up and down that he can really cook Jiffy Pop over a camp fire....and watching him fail. Honestly, I've never seen Jiffy pop turn out well even over a stove.

Re-discovering camping now that I have two small kids. Can't wait to take them to grandpa's place down by the lake in the Spring.

Gotta Love this stuff, Always have it in the trailer, and have even cooked it over a fire.....turns out great and NO electricity needed for for the micro-wave stuff.

We camp because........we love it.....  :>   I've camped since I was a child and there's just something about camping that makes me feel..."at home".  It's hard to explain.....    I have never been happy a camping trip was over....never been glad to be home again (even though I love my house)....I just enjoy camping more than most anything.  I've always looked forward to doing the retirement travel in a big RV, but now that I take care of Mom, I'm not sure that will ever happen.   Oh well.....we'll get out whenever we can!!!  :)
