In between Stirring the pot....

I am trying to figure out somewhere to go for Spring break.  We are a little tired of the same old places.  We were thinking of "getting out of town"  I don't think I could talk the wife into more than 5 or 6 hours in the car.  Any suggestions?  Mountains would be nice.  I was thinking Tahoe?

Suggestions?

Jamesdad

OK Dieter,
It's time to start stirring the pot and get more activity on the board here..(all in fun:sombraro:). I think I recalled a post from you awhile back saying you teach, you coach...multiple teams, your wife is PTA, busy family with three kids, you have a rental you manage, etc...not alot of time free for much else. You harrass Wavery for being retired and he has lots of free time and you are busy trying to find free time....

Well, how does somebody described above who joined in 2007 have 1,696 postings...as busy as you are and I only have 325. I am also very busy, but not as busy as you...how about explaining yourself :D?? This one is for you Wavery...:-()

It's only an hour away from me, looks like a nice spot. I haven't heard of it before, maybe worth checking out. Let us know if you end up there.

Looks very nice and the price is good too....Close to the park

You should go to Indian Cove campground at Joshua Tree. The kids would love climbing on the rocks.

Yep, definitely happy pills needed here. Maybe a little "too much time on the computer"?. Or, coffee works also...:D
