Well I was fed some gossip or what ever you want to call it today.  It is early but it was said that there is consideration of 10% to 15% pay cut, plus about 5 furlow days in the coming school year.  It needs to be negotiated out of course how this is to be done and such.  I dunno.  It is wait and see with the state budget game as usual and see where things end up.

Sorry to be a downer.

With all of thhis rain we are getting this season, the reservoir levels should be coming up nicely for our summer camping season.  Hopefully some of the creeks and places will still be running a bit later than normal too.

ps hope that is more cheerful:)

Oh I just thought of someting else as I hit the post button.
We are going to Disneyland later this month.  I have been wanting to go for a long time, did not make the Holiday Season Decorations this year, maybe next year.
So we are going to the Happiest Place on Earth, yeah!!

We have passes too!!!! Griffy and mom went on Super Bowl Sunday, while daddy was winnin' $$$ on the game.

I'm old school and I worked at D-Land while in HS in Anaheim. IMHO, I prefer the old Disneyland!!! I feel the same way about Knott's Berry Farm.

The plan is to go down on Monday of the week with a 2 day unlimited park hopper and come home on Wednesday.  I was told that CSEA had a good deal going for tickets, but right now Disneyland themselves have the best offer for 97 bucks I believe for their Southern Cali promotion.  We live in a qualifying zip code so that is what where we will get them.
Looks like buy 'em and print 'em and by pass the whole ticket booth mess.
Going to stay across the street at one of the Bestwestern places and walk right in.  The Matterhorn will be open by the time we go and that is one of my faves.  If there are certain attractions not open, I won't go.
Can't wait to get there.  It has been a while, like 3 or 4 years.  If we lived closer I think I would get passes of some kind.
