Sequoia RV Ranch Campground is in the Sierra Nevada Foothills only eight miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park.

Campsites
The campground offers 55 - 58 sites (depending on how many in the group site)  Most with full hookups, a few with water and electric only.  There is one group area with 10 sites, with water elec only, and one SMALL group site, maybe 3 or 4 small trailers, with water elec only.

Facilities
The campground does not have a swimming POOL, but does offer a "Swimming Hole" in the Kawaeh River.  There is also fishing in the river.  The "Bath House" is in the middle of the adjoining RV Park and were clean and freshly painted, but are a bit of a walk.  Showers are free, however I had one instance of no hot water when the whole CG decided to take a shower at the same time.

Things to do
Of course the main draw is this CG proximity to Sequoia National Park.  Only 8 miles to the entrance, there is LOTS to do in the Park.  There is the small town of Three rivers that includes small shops, (antiques, clothing, market, etc) and restaurants (pizza, bakery, diner, Ice cream, etc)  Local hiking trails, and of course more fishing.

Weather
Our visit in April temps ranged from the low of 27 the first night to 80 degrees our last day.  This area can get HOT in summer, high in June average 85-95 degrees, July 95-98, Aug 98 degrees, with temps that can reach the 100 degrees and more in July and Aug.

Positives/Negatives
Beautiful campground, nice facilities, river very nice.  The riverside sites are the best.  Great starting point for Sequoias.  The Bath House is a little far from the CG, but are very clean and well kept.  No playground or pool for the kids, but the river is good entertainment.  Given the time of year the CG could be "buggie" in the hotter Months.  Staff is very nice and helpful with questions.

We would return if the we could find the right time of year to avoid the heat, and get a GOOD riverside site.

special bonus.  Actually I was the only Male in camp to take a shower, but there was a woman coming out of the shower on my way over and another leaving as I was.  And Dawnne said there was another in there at the time, so, I guess all the Women in camp needed to be clean...oh wait what does that say about me???
