Time for new GPSR

It looks like my older Garmin Etrex Vista has a short in it and at times has a blank or horizotal line display instead of the GPS data.

I use my GPSR for geocaching, but also hiking, bicycling (with a handlebar mount), and in the boat.  I would like to start doing paperless cacheing. The new Garmin GPSMAP 62 series coming out this year look great, but expensive.

Does anyone else have experience with the GPSMAP 60csx, Dakota, or Oregon not just for cacheing but for other outdoor activities?
