GiffsterHey Giff, we just had our 2nd camp trip too, last weekend. Weather was 40 at night and 65-70 days. Great weather. We have already had the experience of the missing chocks and other mistakes learned ( like forgetting to unlatch one corner of the roof when popping up - snap goes the cable!) but this time was perfect.
We camped at Lake Texana SP, TX. Lots of deer and birds (including robins - Spring is on the way folks!), coyotes yapping and owls hooting at night, you gotta love it! I put up my hammock and laid there for hours in the sun, reading my trashy novel.
Cooked fajitas on the grill with tortillas and guacamole. Yum!
The only downer was the space shuttle disaster.[:(] I had my small TV along so we watched sadly as the events were unfolded. Made me sick to see it. We were south of the flight path and did not have to worry about the falling debris. Wrote about it in our camp journal.
Maybe we can camp again in 3 weeks, I m hoping.
