 SuezyqueJo Ann and Sandy,

I was at Walmart today and saw a pavillion they had set up in their garden center.  It had privacy panels made of rip rip stop nylon that were mounted on the side rails of the pavillion frame with something similar to shower curtain rings.  They were zipped together in the center of each panel, making a door on each side.  And the panels were easy to pull to the corners to open up the space.  That might be a solution with the vinyl shower curtain idea.

Suezyquethanks, sue.  just re-read your first (long) post and you have some good ideas.

I bought some flannel-backed vinyl tablecloths (green " moire" ) at wally world and did put them all around the bottom - though I probably should have made it deeper - I didn t want to block the screening.

I was thinking that the vinyl curtains could be hung onto the tension bars with....shower curtain rings!  i ll have to tie it somewhere so they don t slide down.

I frequently hang a 3-tiered wire basket from the tension bar and have been thinking of putting a hose clamp (?) on the bar to keep the basket from sliding.  I could put one at the edge nearest the bag.

BTW, I followed somebody s advice and now don t bother to set up the center " down"  pole.  gets rid of the obstruction.   I made the flowerpots for the poles and it works great except you can t stake them down but I use the " over the awning"  strap and that is staked.
