So far, I fixed one blind that had a broken string, added hooks to hang a trash bag, found and installed a rack for shampoo bottles and soap, replaced the awning on the slide out and changed out the shower head for a tall one so I don't have to squat to shower! And added a mattress toper and hanging clothes racks in the closets.
OH, and fixed my first SPUT. Don't pull the slide out in with the bathroom door open. Lucky it only bent the hinge.

It's nice having room to park the trailer in the driveway. It's been allowing me to do some simple mods and fix a couple things. We have a 30 AMP outlet so all systems can work if needed.
But the main thing is it has allowed us to use it any time. Donna and a grandson driveway camped last night. Her and granddaughter slept out there a two weeks ago, until the wind picked up anyway. She is out there today doing some online training for work. It's her "Happy Place" she says. LOL

I could work 3 days a week for a free site. It is FHU I hope.
Just about one month to our first camp. I am so ready for it.

I'm also looking at taking a Volunteer gig in Massachusetts (near where I grew up), doesn't pay anything, would have to do some light maintenance in exchange for free site, 24 hours per week (3 days on, 4 days off). It's about 12 miles from Sturbridge.

Wow, some changes but for a good reason. PSA numbers that jump that much should make the doctor step back and think twice. Glad the VA clinic results were more normal. Keeping a check on those numbers is very important though.
Work FT and still have to pay rent? That doesn't compute in my book unless the salary is around $50 an hour. And good luck getting that kind of hourly rate these days anywhere.

Well, things are looking up now. I had to delay my trip north, I was suppose to leave Florida on Friday! But I'm going back to TTO for a couple of weeks, and then to TC Clerbrook for about a week and a half. Then head north.

I delayed for a medical reason, seems my Lab results showed my PSA jumped from 4.? to 12.6 and the Doctor was concerned, wanted to get an MRI of my Prostate. I told her that the test had to be in error, as I've watch the Prostate increase 0.1 every couple years, I figure if it jump 8 points in six months I should be already dead.

So I shifted gears, and went to the VA Medical clinic about a half mile from my Doctor, and had more/new lab work done, seems my PSA is right where it belonged at 4.8. They want me run more labs in about 5 weeks, but I'll be out of Florida by then.

Meanwhile, I blew off my job offer to return to Sun Outdoors in Saco Maine, I have an issue with their pay system plus their $600 per month rent (too much for an employee). Will look for something else that has a free site plus hourly pay, otherwise I'll just stay "retired" for the season.

Correct. Think I posted that on another thread.
So how are you doing? When does the north bound trek begin now?
