I saw that a few days back, and I used to be a Senior Moderator, but I don't have access to the moderator controls these days. The best I was able to do was click the "report to moderator" and hope that it actually went to somebody?!?!

Well, you'll have plenty to do when you get back!  Happy camping!

Yea, I been trying to knock them down. Now I'm at camp and no PC to work with. Cannot read this forum on a phone.

Final update for this thread....

I made it to Maine!! I still don't have a job lined up, still working on a couple of leads. The trip north took 16 days (due to a couple planned lengthy stops). I'm going to try a different angle next week. The guy that owns Resort Communications (park cable & wifi provider) is going to be at my old park (Pinehirst) next week, and I used to do some work for him over the phone. I'm going to see if he'd be interested in having me work for him (even periodically) while I'm up here. He's based out of NJ and has always found it difficult to get one of his workers up here when needed. Don't know what will come out of that if anything, but it wouldn't hurt to talk to him.

Arrived yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon, and my brother pulled up to the campground while I was still setting up. Zeus went full Scooby-Doo the minute he pulled up and got out of the car, he just loves my brother to death. We did dinner at Mike's Seafood, and made a short trip to the grocery store.

I've been dealing with Laryngitis for close to 2 weeks now. I'm able to talk again, but the voice comes & goes from a little raspy to sounding like a wounded Pterodactyl. Though still struggling to vocalize, I went out and visited with the 2 campgrounds that I've worked at over the last 4 years.

Glad to be back at my "2nd Home"...

Tim or whoever has magic abilities.
There are many (2 page long list) apparently identical posts from the same user (trustgas) in many different topic pages.   All spam.  Can you block the user and remove the posts please.

Hey Tim, that's irritating!

I'm booking a cabin on the harbor for three nights in July.  We have a trip before that visiting various family, but it's going to be hotel rooms.  Still beats doing projects at home   8)

That's great Cliff! Thanks for the update.
We started our season on May 1. So far 2 repairs cost me $200+.
One makes me mad. No hot water because the propane tanks that we were told got filled before we towed it home were not. One tank was dead empty; the other one had enough to run the furnace for about two hours. Grrr.

Another update, arrived at TT Sturbridge (Massachusetts) on Thursday. Here for 6 days, leave on Wednesday for TT Moody Beach Maine. Have a job offer at Coastal Acres out on the tip of Cape Cod, but I'm turning that down, it's just too isolated out there! I'm interviewing with Pine Lake RV Resort in Sturbridge Mass tomorrow (Monday), that's about 2 miles from where I'm at right now. Already met the park manager yesterday, and they are looking for one more maintenance man, so who knows! I'm still going to Maine on Wednesday, but if they offer me job I'll be back in a week. If not, I've got the next 8 weeks reserved Maine.

Left TT Williamsburg this morniing, arrived at Lums Pond State Park in Bear Delaware around 3:30pm. I did a full set-up because I'll be here 2 days. I'm thinking of hooking everything up late tomorrow afternoon so I can get going early on Thursday morning. Planning to arrive at TT Sturbridge (Massachusetts) Thursday evening. That'll be a 6 day stay. Not sure what happens after that, I'm reserved at TT Moody Beach in Wells Maine from there, but have a phone interview with a campground at the tip of Cape Cod tomorrow. I'll have to see what they offer, but likely will still go to Maine.

Wow, you have been on the go. Not sure why these last few posts did not show up as new on my PC.
Anyway, one week in one spot sounds good. We will be heading to camp in one week for 7 weeks!
Nice to find friends along the road. I like that golf cart! And Charlies graphics are too much! He does some nice work.
