campfire bans

Just in case, while you're planning your next destination, remember to check on fire bans due to this drought. Didn't think to check till yesterday, (GrumpyCamper and the boys left today) and found that Cloudland Canyon state park in GA (their destination) has posted a ban. Also, our daughter's coach was at Fall Creek Falls last weekend and the water table is so low that the waterfalls are virtually non-existant right now. He didn't camp, but noticed also that 1 campground is completely closed for remodeling and they have a no reservation policy until the fall. We went camping last week at Meeman-Shelby in the Memphis area and no bans yet.
