I have always used the check-out without signing in option. I ve never figured thatout either. I don t know what that signing in does?

it s the same login ID, but a different password.  On the login screen, put in your screen name, then select " Please Email Me My Password" .
 
 Check your email.  The password will arrive.  You will recognize it.  You can change it.
 
 You need to log in to get your member discount.

 Thanks Austin.  I though I remembered something different for the store, but I wasn t sure.  I didn t want to bug the admin w/ the question.

I just ordered one of the fan lights and did the log in thing.  the price showed the discount but when I checked out it showed the non discounted price and I think that is what went on the credit card.
