Picked up this space saving wonder at Lowe s today.  Its a floor-to-ceiling tension rod with several swiveling horizontal rods at different heights.  The box shows it used in corner of a bathroom as a towel rack and in a bathtub to hang wet clothing on to drip dry.  Adjustable to 8.5 ft. in height.

I envisioned this mounted at the galley with the horizontal rods holding paper towels, dishtowels, maybe hanging basket, mirror, etc. Or using in front of a bunk to hang clothing from.  It was only 8 bucks, so I ll give it a try and report on how well it works.

 wssfetchSue -
Do you have a link?  I d love to check it out.
Could you put s-hooks on it to hang up pots or pans?  Is it strong enough for something like that?

wssfetchHaven t even gotten it out of the box yet, but will try to do so this evening and report back.  It looks as if it might hold pots and pans on s-hooks.   Will let you know.

wssfetchThe one I had was strong enough to hang pots and pans from.  They are meant to be ceiling height so will probably have to be shortened for a PU. I am glad to hear they are still available.

wssfetchHere is something we picked up a while ago and love it.  We just tie it to a little metal piece on the ceiling that is in our Bayside to the left of the stove.... very handy for dry food storage.

wssfetchWe found a towel rack that attaches to the from of our sink with an allen wrench. Got it at OSH. I screwed the base to the frot of the sink cabinet and then voila we had our rack. We take it down when we close the trailer. I ll take some pictures of the shelves and racks in our trialer and try to post them next week. They re neat, but were designed by JaJa from the old board.

wssfetchWe ve been cleaning out things lately and were about to toss an old shoe holder.  You know, the kind that holds 6-8 pair of shoes and hangs in the closet.  I took it camping the next time out and hung it from the shepherds crook-thing.  it was great and ended up half full by the end of weekend, mostly with things that were stored away in draws and boxes...earphones, hair brushes, meds, etc.  They were mostly things that stay in the camper, so I could just leave it in there.
Saved a lot of stooping and looking for stuff.  And I do seem to require a lot more STUFF to keep me functioning these days!

wssfetchSomething that I use is the tension rod over the toilet thing with three shelves. (About $12 at Wal-Mart)  DH cut some length off of the two removable poles and it works great sitting on the galley cabinet tensioned (not too tight) to the roof.  I know have a pantry with 3 shelves.  We take it down and store it under the dining area for traveling.
