Opinion please.  
 
 Any Starcraft experiences?  Looking at a 2002 Model 2407.  12  box, slide out, A/C, Furnace, " lounge"  bench seats replace some front end storage.
 
 Dealer asking $6995, says list is $10,829
 
 Will be pulling with a Ford Escape, V6.
 
 What do you think?

I can t say enough about my Starcraft.  It has been wonderful with literally zero problems.  Ours is a 2000 model, though, so I don t have experience with the newer style although ours is also 12  and has the slide-out (Spacestar).  I am extremely happy with the brand so if you like the floorplan/dealer/price I don t think you ll be disappointed.  []

We purchased our  03 Starcraft 2408 in November of last year.  Even though we haven t had it long, we have enjoyed it, and have had no problems at all.  We are happy with the brand, and the floorplan fit our needs.  Our model listed at $9,995, and we purchased it at an RV show for just under $8,500.  The model you are looking at sounds like a great deal, just be sure you are happy with the dealership.

How much does it weigh?  I think the Escape has a 3500 pound tow limit.
