what is a good price for one?  or did most folks who have one get it as part of the package?

Our dealer s parts dept. quoted over $500 for AARs, $300 for screen rooms.  That seems pretty steep.

 whippetwrunwhippetwrum,

Just priced one last week at my dealers from CareFree at 185 for the screen room. This was for the 12  Utah. Not bad. http://www.carefreeofcolorado.com/

whippetwrunI waited for a while and finally someone put their unused AAR for a 2001 Bayside up for sale on the old pop up times board classifieds. $150 plus shipping.

 whippetwrunGang, I m back!!!!!!!

The best bet to purchase a AAR is when you buy your TT.  The next best deal is ask your dealer when he places his next order for TT, to add a AAR for you.  They get a discount when they purchase one while ordering a trailer.

If you know someone who has a used one, you should be able to get a deal!!!

 cdnduckcdnduck,

unfortunately, we were clueless about the extras when we got our popup and didn t know about AARs [:(].  I may give our dealer a call and see what they can do, or I may take a look at the Carefree AARs. Or both and see who comes up with the better price.  We have a week long trip in June and two weeker in August planned this summer so I d like to get it before then if possible.  Thanks for the idea of adding it on to an order - maybe it will give me more bargaining power.

by the way - I started a poll in the polls forum about AARs vs Screen rooms since I am at loss as to what I want to do.

whippetwrunThe AAR privacy panels make it nice and being able to cover the screens when it is raining make it nicer than just a screen room.
