I first heard about these awning from Dave and today I got their catalog.
A Very nice series of awnings including a bag awning with the uprights & arms that  actually fold and slide into the main roller and the first crank up awning I ve seen that can be mounted on a PU.

F25lite awning is available in lengths from 6 3"  to 11 8"  and except for the 6 footer has a 7 5"  extension.
Pros: the leg and arm supports fit inside the aluminum main roller.

Cons: rafters need to be purchased seperately and need to be stored seperately. they do offer a kit with clips to hook them somewhere.
PRICE: off the website the prices were about 50% higher than similar sized bag awnings.

F45plus awning is avaiable in lengths from 8 2"  to 16 6"  and again except for the 6 footer extension is 7 5" .
It is a true box, crank out RV awning like you see on the big class A rigs with a cranking pole and everything.

Pros: it cranks out and the legs store in the box. no climbing stepladders if you forget to open the bag before you raise the trailer roof.
Has a " double shock absorber"  system to promote smooth extension and provide durability in heavy weather conditions protecting both the awning and the trailer/roof.
Comes with mounting clips so the legs can be mounted to the side of the trailer like the Carefree campout.
Has multiple mounting hardware setups, but according to the catalog can be installed using a common awning rail.

Cons: The " acessories you ll end up buying for it at additional cost. Rafters are extra cost as is a bowed " rain rafter"  that can be used so you don t have to drop a corner. Problem is they say not to use it for " extended periods of time"  as it will strech the awning fabric.
Biggest con like with the F25 is PRICE. We  re talking about $700 for an awning.[&:]

Overall con of the company: They are based in Europe and only have a single distributor in the US in Orlando, Florida, so shipping (to big for UPS) by truck can get expensive. With only one US distributor parts availability can be limited and could amount to extended repair times.

My general impression: if the F45plus was around $500 I d pay the extra over a say Carefree Campout to get one just to have a true crankout.
The awning are from the looks in the catalog top quality, BUT, the price is a killer for me. The Euro/Dollar exchange rate may change the price of these, downward I hope.

mike4947The TrailManor uses Fiama awnings exclusively on their trailers, mine has the F45 Plus, in 11 6"  and it is a fine awning.  I was looking at the screen room for them, and they are $600..which is quite pricey.

Another advantage that I found with mine (over the Coleman type) was during my last outing, I had a tree that was too close to the trailer and with the Fiama, I could exrend the awning only part way and still have eveything (like the door) work OK.  With my Coleman, we would have had to either move the trailer or forget using the awning.
