Was dropping off the PUP this weekend at the local RV dealer for some spring maintenance (wheel bearings) and since I had time to kill, I browsed through the parts dept.   I noticed they had a few Wildfire Generators displayed for a really good price.  Just not sure on the quality or reputation of Wildfire.  I am looking at the 2500watt WF2500B generator.  They sell it for 349.00  I can order it though Wildfire directly for 269.00+39 for shipping.  Just looking for opinions, good or bad.

Here are the details

I notice that it can't be sold in California. I wonder if that's due to the emission requirements.Moose

It's rated at 68db @ 23' and you can be sure that is at idle. I can't find a noise rating at working power but you can bet it is about 75-80db.

That's a pretty loud generator. If you're camping in the boonies, where it effects only you, that's one thing. However, you may not make good neighbors in a CG with this generator.

Currently, only plan is to use on private property.  95% of our camping is dry camping on land we own.   Whenever we go to campgrounds we have always camped with electric hookups.
