what brand and is there a specific size?several in my jeep club suggest tekonsha prodigy 2.6.

i tow a 05 rockwood premier 2302 (appx3100lbs) with my 06 jeep commander .the vehicle pulls fine but i definitly need the brakes actively working on the PU.

any info would be appreciated

I think that most here will agree on the Prodigy......Great brake controller. One size fits all.

Same here.  I've tried other controllers.  You can't have MY Prodigy, get your own!

I love our Prodigy.  Works great.

You can't go wrong with the Prodigy, and with the small cost difference, there's little reason not to get the Prodigy.
