RE: Battery or 12 Volt Blenders

Any one have a review of blenders?
 My rechargable cordless blender that I ve had for more years than I can remember finally bit the dust and can t be repaired.[] . I m looking for reccomendations.What I need is a strong blender for mixing drinks.Thanks

Marcy, Wallyworld had some Coleman lool alike, 12V blenders. I don t know if they are any good or not. But you could check them out. They are in a green (Coleman) style box, But they aren t Coleman.

 Try this link: www.cabelas.com put blender in the search box. They have a 12 volt for $50. I personally like the GSI for $70, don t have to worry about the battery[]

Thanks for all the suggestions..Among my wanderings on my last trip to Targets, they now have a 12 volt blender on the shelves for 29.99.
 Next trip there I m going to take one out of the box and check it out..
 I really miss my old B&D rechargable blender, It s so old they can t repair it because another company now makes their appliances[]
 
 Mtn Camper, If I come across one of the coffee pots I ll let you know what I think. Personally I like mine perked,not drip. But having coffee in 10 min does sound appealing.

 Thanks for the info, it sounds simular to what I had and worth looking into (actualluy still have it in hopes of finding someone who can fix it)
 
 I liked not having the cord attached. The one that I have is about 15 yrs old, I believe it is the first one B & D ever made. The batteries are in the base permanently,just replaced the batteries last spring. Spent 30 bucks on the batteries!! Costed more than the blender did new.
