Kring Point State Park, part of the New York system of state parks, is located on Route 12, about six miles east of the town of Alexandria Bay, New York, and is situated on a peninsula jutting out into the St. Lawrence River, facing the Canada-US border. This region, known as the beautiful Thousand Islands for its roughly 1,700 islands, is a popular destination for many people pursuing summertime activities.
