The PopUp Times team have just wrapped up production of the Summer 2012 issue. The files were sent to the printer today and soon freshly minted copies will be in the mail to our faithful subscribers.
We’ve got some really great content in this issue, including a destination review of Kring Point State Park in NY, the compelling tale of repairing a broken lift system, some reviews of interesting and innovative products (the kind where you think, “gee, why didn’t I think of that?!”), and a rundown on 10 different ways you can take your bikes along with you on camping trips. You read that correctly — there are at least 10 ways to carry bikes. We couldn’t believe it ourselves.
Our very own Campground Gourmet continues the highly informative series with more great camp cooking tools and camping recipes.
In this edition we’re introducing QR codes to help enhance your experience, and adding a new camping character for some extra fun for everyone!
Not a subscriber yet? It’s a GREAT deal. Get this, we publish quarterly and subscriptions are a measly $12.50 per year. (Canada $17.50). Yeah, we know, we’re still trying to figure out how to get the costs down for our Canadian subscribers. And if you subscribe to the magazine not only do you get this highly informative content, you’re supporting the PUX family of sites you love so much. So for a few dollars you get a great read, and you give a little something to help support running the sites. How cool is that, we all win!
UPDATE:
The summer issue is expected to go in the mail August 2nd.
