 It s a terrible story with a better ending.  It is amazing how she was able to figure out where to get something to eat at such a young age.  Her mother obviously had serious problems and that s sad, also. It does concern me that the neighbors didn t see or hear anything unusual.
 

This what I couldn t understand.  Has anyone seen a 2yr old quiet for any amount of time much less this long.  Must be the case where the neighbors don t want to get involved.  OR  maybe they were used to the child screaming and crying all the time and this just didn t seem abnormal.  But then again, didn t they notice the mother never around??

The social fabric of life in NA is not what it used to be I guess .... Looks like the more modernized, civilized a country is, the less people bond and take care of each other at a social level.
