This can t tell the whole story.  He s divorcing her and sound bitter since he had not contact during this process, he should have kept more on top the his daughter --- too many stories of mothers going wacko and hurting their children.

angelsmom10yeah..but if he had a court order not to bother the mom to see his dgt...then that may explain it, and also the fact that he may have been used to the mom disappearing for a few days or weeks from time to time...i ma just glad he got there when he did/

angelsmom10You know you need a license to have a dog but any nit wit can have a kid. It makes me sick to even think about stuff like that.

I am so involved in the schools and you have to love the mentality of some of the parents, one example the grade one kid who couldn t see to learn to read but mom wouldn t let her wear her glasses to school because they may get broke [&:]
The one that you tell the parents they need specialized help and they refuse saying nothing is wrong with my kid its your teachers ( kid with autism )

the stories I can tell but just tic me off [:@]

angelsmom10They showed the little girl in her daddy s arms last night. They said he just kept crying every time he thought of her in there.   Gosh, I cried when I heard!

 How can people do this???

MommaMia

angelsmom10Hey all~  I live in Jacksonville and have heard quite a bit about this story.  It has been reported that dad had actually been trying for weeks to get in touch. He finally went to the police and that s when he found out the wife was in jail.  The mother was told to have said the little girl was staying with a neighbor but wouldn t tell exactly which neighbor.  Sounds to me like all along she knew the girl was alone and mom was hoping for the worst to happen.

It is a miracle the girl is alive.  At just two, she did remarkably well surviving alon.  She was eating ketchup, mustard, raw rice, raw pasta, raw eggs... they said basically she had eaten anything she could reach on the bottom half of the refridgerator.  She also peeled labels off the cans of corn thinking she could get them open that way!  How sad to know that there is food right there but she couldn t get to it because she couldn t open the cans.  She must have been so disappointed!

I find it interesting that though she had been home alone for nearly 3 weeks, she made no attempt to get out and no neighbors ever knew she was there alone.  Seems like if she was so quiet, maybe she was used to being home alone.  No doubt the mom had left her alone before!

 So sad....

angelsmom10It s a terrible story with a better ending.  It is amazing how she was able to figure out where to get something to eat at such a young age.  Her mother obviously had serious problems and that s sad, also. It does concern me that the neighbors didn t see or hear anything unusual.
