forestwalkerThanks, all, for your replies. We do keep our pop up at home now,but  in a few years we are moving to a neighborhood in Arizona that does not allow recreation vehicles to be parked in the street,or in driveways.

forestwalkerPer our HOA, we have to store ours at a storage lot. It s $45 a month...in an outside lot.

forestwalkerWe pay $25 per month for the kiwi. It s secured reader card access outdoor storage about 7 miles from home. I paid $20 per month when we had the pop up. The storage lot charges approximately $1 x length in feet per month.

forestwalkerFor the past 3 years I ve kept the PU right there in the driveway. There was enough room to park the Jeep there too, and will be able to access the garage for lawn mowers etc....

However, the new Hybrid is too long for the driveway and the Jeep, and had to find a new parking space. Beside the garage seems to work, though it s killing the lawn underneath that spot. It s also under a large tree and don t particularly care for the crud that comes down out of the tree either. But it s basically free parking!!! [8D]

forestwalkerI store mine just off of the driveway by our shed in the spring/summer/fall months and move it along side of our above ground pool and cover it for the winter months. I have done this with it since I bought it in 1996 and I guess that is what I will do with it until I have enough money to build a garage for it and the cars. I live in the country so it is not a problem where I park it.

rccsWe built our garage extra deep, so we could have a shop.
But as soon as we finished the garage, we bought the PU.
And it s been parked in that spot for 5 years.

So in the spring when we sell it[&:], I guess we will finally have our shop.[:D]

OC Campers

rccsWe have an RV spot in our townhome complex and the charge $20 a month.  What a deal.  If we had to put it in a storage yard, that runs $90-$120 a month.

The Palomino sits in the driveway for the winter. I just have to clean it off after every snowfall.

Our first rig was stored in a "barn"-along with other pop-ups, cars, boats, etc. Cost? $60 for 6 months. But when we pulled it out in the spring, we found some damage to the outer skin. Seems the owner had jammed everything in, and used our rig for a buffer. Never again.
