Hello!  Gotta say I'm definatly wierd!     Anyway welcome to the board - hope you get lots of useful info and have FUN with that new pop-up of yours!

i had a prorac  //www.prorac.com system installed by the dealer.  prorac said something like they were manufacturer approved.

i got it to transport kayaks, which is fine as long as your put-in is close to your campsite!!!   the kayak saddles are made by Thule.

Just wanted to say hi! I just bought my new pop-up yesterday and I actually go do the delivery today at 2:30. I got a 2004 Flagstaff 228 M.A.C. by Forest River. I know nothing about these things so I hope I bought a good one. Does anyone know anything about the availability of, or putting on a roof rack for these things?

Check with your dealer...Flagstaff options list a bike rack and a boat rack...if there is a boat rack,  I would think "something" can go on the roof!

Wow!! Hello all and sorry for the delay, the day after I posted this I went to scottsdale for the week and I have a rule about not getting on line when I'm on vacation.  So thank you all for the info and I look forward to further participation here.  And I am trying to find a rack to support two sea kayaks...I noticed some one else is doing that so I'll check it out.
