O'Neill Regional Park

Sounds great!  My DH, Dave, will probably be there early afternoon.  We have a Coleman Sun Valley and a white Expedition TV, but we'll be easily recognizable by all the "stuff" we bring. :yikes:
 
Dee, if you can't camp, but don't have plans for Saturday dinner, you, Dan and the kids are welcome to join us!  Bring the kids' bikes and they can ride around.

 is it this Sat the 21st???  we may do that, I'll talk to Dan..we have to be @ USC in the morning for the award ceremony that Kevin is receiving it's at 10 am and about an hour long so maybe we'll pack up the car and head on down after.
can't wait until Friday, I dropped Kevin off @ camp in Running springs for Science camp and I haven't talked to him since :%  :% ...he's having fun and moms sad she can't talk to her boy...can't they just stay little forever.

Hey congrats to Kevin!! :# That kid is such a brainiac!!!  He should be proud of himself!!!  I know what you mean about them growing up too fast.  Even in those moments when I think of how much easier it may be when Griffin is older, I know I can't wish away these very precisous times with him now....

I will call you on your cell tomorrow to let you know either way...Kevin is giving me big NO which I get since he hasn't been home ALL week and he has that award thing all morning tomorrow. Kara wants to go (she wants to Camp) she says June is too far, but she can't make up her mind 'cause she wants to be with her brother too. so we'll see what tomorrow brings..If we come Down it might just be me & peanut  (or just me :Z ) is your Mom going?  she is such a neat lady I like having her around

Hey Dee, Congrats to Kevin.  Not to steal your thunder but Ashlee was awarded Student of the Month last week for Acedemic Excellence in Spelling.  I'm a proud Dad !!!   I  even got one of those bumper stickers to prove it !!

Lori, I wanted to say it was great to get a chance to say Hi and meet you and your family last weekend. You were all very welcoming. I hope you survived the heat. Boy it sure was hot but we had a great time at O'neil. Actually it was nice to know they are getting busy now and hopefully can continue to make improvements. I realized as we were leaving we did not even make it to the bew park, but I am sure we will go back there again probibly during the fall and winter when we can camp and get the kids to school and all, when we can not get away for a real trip..lol
 Hopefully we can make it to a rally one day, and meet up with the rest of the group

Very interesting. Too bad I didn't look at this link before today...we actually moved the weekend of this camping trip right NEXT door to Oneil park. We can literally walk down our street, cross the street and we're there!!! What a bummer, Lori, if I had known you were there we would have taken a break from unpacking and walked over to say hello. Darn it!!
