Quote from: eo19I have never seen this leveler before. Does it work well? It looks like a good idea. Are there a lot of PUT members using this? Where is the best place to get one? Can it be used with standard wheel chocks?

It does work well.  Absolutely, alot of PUT members use them!  The best place to get one is wherever it's the least expensive, including shipping.  It can be used with standard wheel chocks.

However, I and many other PopUp owners use two BALs.  Both the Single Axle Leveler, and the Single Tire Locking
 Chock.

Have one, don't use it. It's faster to use the Lynx leveling blocks! Mine has stayed in storage for 2 years now and haven't missed lugging it around, screwing it up or down and especially getting grease all over from carrying it and handling it!
I'd sell it but shipping would probably be a killer, so it just sits out in our storage barn.

Yes we would be one of them!  Ours came cracked in the welding, we called that day and recieved a second one in 2 days(and in a much better carrying case!) My husband had the first one spot  welded stronger, as BAL didn't want it shipped back, now we have two.  We chock with one and level with the other!

Yes, it is the trick! I think i bought mine from J.C. Whitney. Once you get it, you will never regret it.

As for storage, it is a small pain to stow. I have tried old Army canvass bags, etc.... SAVE THE BOX! I have taped and re-taped the original box.

That is funny. I never had any luck with the Lynx Levelers and i probably wasn't doing it right. Everytime i attempted to drive over the Lynx Levelers they would "squirt" out from the tire. I never could get it right. Now, i just use the Lynx Levelers as stabilizer pads.

I purchased mine from Camping World when they had free shipping.  I had a box made to keep mine in.  Just slip it in the box and the box goes into the entry way, standing up on end.:)

Thanks for the help everyone! I just purchased a BAL Leveler from Sportsman's Guide. Can't wait to use it.
