wiininkweCamperoo, your NINE year old wrote that?  This kid has talent; I have seen adults who tried limericks with  results  which  were pitiful--maybe you should rent him out as a limerick teacher .[:)]

wiininkweI know My DS has the fever really bad.  Right now I m contemplating on keeping him home from school cause he has a real bad cold (kept him home monday..sent him back on tuesday cause he seemed better..but now I think he s a lil worse).  When I picked him up from school..his teacher said she couldn t wait till warmer weather cause all the kindergartners seem to have cabin fever really bad right now.  Being layed off right now sucks cause it s to cold to go camping (but cann t wait till the Hillsdale trip).  I m driving the DW up the wall also being home, but we ve all been under a great deal of stress lately..and think once we do our first trip...the stress will just melt away.

wiininkweNightOwl, pretty good huh for a little guy!!  I emailed it to his grandpa last night too and he loved it!  It s been a tough work week so far, so DH and I got a big laugh out of that little paper he showed us from his school folder!! We hung up his paper on our fridge.  Yup...that boy has a future in something alright!![:)]

 Cabin Fever!!! thats an understatement!
The smell of the campfire, sun shining on your face in the morning, the breeze blowing thru the trees, birds chirping, blue skies,  the dark star lit night skies.......can spring please get here soon!

ForestCreature - the imagery left me staring vacantly out the window desperate for a camping trip.  I could almost feel the sunshine and smell the green grass. I could hear the leaves rustling as the breeze blew through the trees.  The soft haze of a summer day obscuring my vision.  Oh wait, the soft haze is actually little flakes,  doggone it, it is only the snow coming down once again![:o]

 Can t wait to camping!

 whippetwrunHi everybody[:D],

A cure for cabin fever...?  Well, we get out of the cabin![;)]

DW & I are county park volunteers and have been leading Winter hikes.  We led 4 hikes, the temps were anywhere from 7 to 20 degrees with snow on the trails.  Each hike was 4 to 5 miles in length.  Then we ve been to the local RV Show.  We ve got another hike to do this weekend. [:D]

Tomorrow we re driving out to the local state park for the Maple Syrup Festival.  They have people rendering syrup over wood fires on one side of the lake in the woods and on the other side of the lake they are having a pancake breakfast in the Lodge.  $4.00 for all the pancakes you can eat![:)]
