Acts 2:38 girl

QuoteWhen nothing happens that is expected to, it will bring her back down to earth and teach her and her sister a lesson about scheming.

QuoteAnd I agree with all those who say that Andi's future BIL needs to find his own way to do this unpromted by his future sister-in-law or his future bride.

Ow...ya got me!!   ;)   OK, I'll butt out from here on out!   It does make sense, FBIL is sensitive and romantic and I do trust him!  I was just told he would be coming to me for options.  Is this true??  Who knows, but I do have confidence her proposal will be perfect!  I plan on printing this out for him (and her) - for a laugh!!

NightOwl

OK, Andi--you've got us HOOKED on this tale of romance and your sisterly desire to help True LOve bloom.  So, NOW  you HAVE to provide us with the details when the proposal actually takes place!  (And we'll expect online photos of the bride and groom when the wedding takes place.

This is just too wonderfful--we have all shared deaths and illnesses and births and  courtships and divorces and adoptions and the  arrival of grandchildren--and now we get to be an actual part of  the plot of a love story.  We will all be awaiting the next chapter, so dont forget us when the time comes.  :W  :S :S

Have you forgotten about Holly and me????

It's been 2 yrs since our wedding, but I refuse to remove "newlyweds" from my signature, because we still act like it!

We had only been married a couple of months at the '02 Townsend Rally.

No one has forgotten you and how you checked into PUT on your honeymoon.  ;)  :D   We haven't forgotten your thoughtful approach in buying a freezer for your wife for Christmas, either.  Keep on being the newlywed.

Larry, I was thinking particularly of you and Holly when I wrote this--and of course, we at PUT  WERE part of the honeymoon!!  (You ARE still married arent you?*) (*See the note from b-flat above)

OK OK My feelings weren't hurt, really. Somewhat kidding I guess. It might have been the nausea I was suffering in the hotel room (food poisoning in CA) that was talking.

I now, formally, hand the thread BACK to Andrea. Didn't mean for it to become about ME (It's ALL about ME, right?).

Larry, you big goofy, I bet Andi never thought (and  probably neither did anyone else here ) that you had hi-jacked this thread and therefore had to "hand it back."  This isnt just about Andi's sister, you know, it's about

 LOVE AND ROMANCE

and you and Holly are certainly a prime example of that for all of us who  were privileged to experience  tales of your courtship, marriage, and honeymoon (still ongoing! )  (BTW, is the freezer still a much-beloved part of your relationship?)

Isnt it fun for you--safely, happily married--to sit on the sidelines and watch it all happen to someone else this time?    Even after 45 years, it is for me.

It is these shared experiences that makes this place so special for all of us, I think.

Well said.

And what a great group of people to "watch" us.

OK, I printed out the whole post and gave it to my FBIL.  My sister read this post last Sat., and we all re-read Larrys proposal to Holly!   Awww..... :D   So as soon as we get some pictures, or SOMETHING happens - I'll let you know!

B-flat

Has the marriage proposal taken place yet?

birol

Oh come on B-flat, give the man some time, after reading all we wrote, he is scared now ! All the true romantics, versus come on already types, I don't blame the guy. WHat he should do he is subscrive here and get to know us and learn our culture :)

Ohhh, he's in big trouble then!!  :)   Personally, after the advice here I've taken, I've butt out!  I don't even know if he's purchased the ring!  I think he's just waiting for the perfect time, plus you have to psyke yourself up a bit, I'd imagine!  Esp. with the way she gets PMS!!  :D   I better be careful now, because they know the site address and she could check me out real fast!!

B-flat

What?!  Check us out and then he finds we are some kind of cult.  That would scare the living daylights out of him.  As grandpa used to say when we were stared at:  "They've never seen anything like us before."  ;)  :Z  :J
