PopUpMomma

We play trains all the time.  It's really almost become an obsession with our family..........talk about a million different ways people play the game......ha ha...Really fun!
Quote from: griffsmomIt is a dominoes game that about 6 or 8 people can play at a time and is easy enough for anyone to pick up very quickly. It's a fun game, which we first learned about from the Simis (Rich and Tamara)at Malibu last Memorial Day weekend. The only bad part about the game, though is if you have a little one, he may be prone to driving you insane when he figures out that pushing the middle of the "hub" makes a prolonged train whistle and chugging sound, and does so repeatedly! :eyecrazy:

PS you can buy it at Camping World.  If you want the fancy tin version, it's about $22.  The less fancy (and thereforeless durable) packaging runs about $15.  I liked the destructive-proof nature of the tin and so paid a little more, since it would be subject to a bit more abuse since it was a "camping" game.  Plus it was a present for my DH for father's day and he was worth the extra bucks. :)

Ours is used for a shelf for folding laundry.  But isn't it nice to see it everyday?  And a great place to hide things.......
Quote from: OC CampersWe also just recently bought a new home with room for the popup.  At our old house,e had to store it in an RV space but now it fits in our garage.  I just love going into the garage for something and seeing it parked inside.  Unfortunately, since we only have a 2 car garage the popup is used for a shelf.

Would that be Christmas presents or things you've bought that you don't want hubby to see? ;)

I was referring more towards Christmas, Birthday gifts etc, but...hum.  I didn't think about the other....... ;) Although....we do camp once or twice a month, so I couldn't keep it a secret from him for very long....

Must say I was reluctant to shell out $ 60.00 for the BAL leveler, but this has become one of my favorite purchases for the PU. On many ocassions I am setting up everything on my own (Wife comes down after work) and it definetly helps a lot.

I think the patio mat and the BAL leveler are two of my favorites.  It is hard to narrow it down. :)

One of our favorites have been the rubber squares that assemble together as our patio mat. They cover the stones and uneven surfaces, float when it storms and are easily reusable.

...and despite the recent comments, we have been satisfied with our roof top Yakima bike racks.

I think my favorite is our little microwave, I got the idea off the boards here 2 years ago when we first got our popup.  It's become a tradition that as soon as we get set up, I make popcorn.  I love sitting around a campfire or grilling, but for most cooking the microwave is so much quicker and cleaner than the gas cooktop.  Mine cost $40; you can get them now for $30.
