I think we did this question a long time ago but it might be fun to do it again since we have so many new popuppers.

My favorite purchase was the outdoor mat from the Popuptimes store and the bunk end covers from Popup Gizmos.   I also love my collapsable trash holder that is actually a leaf collector.  I purchased this at Target for $10.  It is a great space saver.

Hey Jacqui,

There's been so many it's hard to narrow it down to just one. I actually like the TV/DVD combo. That totally brings a luxury factor into the pop up, especially when it's cold outside in the evenings.

Your right Surfie, we finally broke down and bought a portable DVD player to put in the car and the popup.  If I asked my 3 year old what is favorite camping thing is, I think the DVD player would be his answer too.

I would have to say that I have several also. One would be the hot water dispensor. Others are the porta potti, carpeting for the floor, the BAL leveler and the flourescent lights.

I don't think I can narrow it down to just one thing either, especially since we bring the most stuff camping, second only to Moose and Paula!!!!!:yikes: :eyecrazy: :J

If I had to choose, the porta-potti is my personal favorite, but close behind (if you'll pardon the pun) are our DOs, my Camp Mate kitchen, and the outside rug/mat from PUT. Griffy, like Matt, would probably say the DVD/TV combo. Dave....hmmm, he might say the mexican train game I bought him for father's day last year. He really enjoys playing that game.

After setting up alone a few times this past summer the BAL tops my list.
Then it's a toss up of  several of the way to many items we take along.
Rocking Chairs, the RoadTrip grill,  DO.....and on and on......and on.....

Hmmm...not sure, but...possibilities include the porta potti and the dutch oven. We also like our Coleman Powerchill.

We haven't tried them yet (birthday gift after the camping season), but Holly got me/us some space blankets from Cabela's to put on the bunk ends. I can see that one being a favorite too.

Chris got a Mexican train game from grandma for his b-day.  We all enjoy it.  We will have to play it at Pismo in June.

What is a Mexican train game?

It is a dominoes game that about 6 or 8 people can play at a time and is easy enough for anyone to pick up very quickly. It's a fun game, which we first learned about from the Simis (Rich and Tamara)at Malibu last Memorial Day weekend. The only bad part about the game, though is if you have a little one, he may be prone to driving you insane when he figures out that pushing the middle of the "hub" makes a prolonged train whistle and chugging sound, and does so repeatedly! :eyecrazy:

PS you can buy it at Camping World.  If you want the fancy tin version, it's about $22.  The less fancy (and thereforeless durable) packaging runs about $15.  I liked the destructive-proof nature of the tin and so paid a little more, since it would be subject to a bit more abuse since it was a "camping" game.  Plus it was a present for my DH for father's day and he was worth the extra bucks. :)

You can also find this game in the toy section of stores like Target, WalMart, etc.  It is a lot of fun to play; I first played this at a family reunion.  Lots of competitive stuff going on there, but all in good fun.  We laughed SO much throughout the game.

Lots of favorites....the BAL...the bed warmer pad....the memory foam....but the best recent one was a new house to keep it at instead of a storage lot!  :>

We actually bought a tin of dominoes from Big Lots for $9.99 (you need a set of dominoies with at least 12 different sets of colored dots).  It also contained 4 small plastic train peices and a circular "train" mat.
My mom bought my son the fancy "train" set that came with the annoying train sound that Lori was talking about.  This is a fun game that any age can play.  Even my 3 year old can play as long as he has a little help.

We also just recently bought a new home with room for the popup.  At our old house,e had to store it in an RV space but now it fits in our garage.  I just love going into the garage for something and seeing it parked inside.  Unfortunately, since we only have a 2 car garage the popup is used for a shelf.

I'm not sure about that Lori, did you take a look at what we brought to Vail Lake......I think we are in the running for top spot.....ha ha
