How do you sleep?

We sleep head towards the galley, feet in.  I AM too claustrophobic to sleep with head toward the back, but this way works fine since it's much easier for either of us to get up in the middle of the night without crawling over each other.   Also gives each of us a window.   I sleep all curled on my side which gives DH plenty of room to stretch out.

By the time I turn in for the night, I generally get to sleep where ever the two dogs (one old 95 # golden retriever, and one yellow lab 120 # puppy) allow me to sleep. Hoppette turns in first for the evening with the two dogs.... and I get what little space is left over. Sometimes it's sideways, sometimes it length ways, sometimes it's caddy-corner, and sometimes it's sleeping sitting up. Thank goodness for the brewski's before turning in.

Since it's normally just DW, myself and the two camping felines, and DW watches TV (whether there is reception or not ;)) and we have two beds, DW takes one, I take the other, and the cats sleep wherever is left.

And don't have to worry about the midnite trips either.

DH & I sleep side to side, I'm on the inside, he's near the bunkend.  That way I get to get up if the kids need anything.....  My 2 girls sleep with their heads towards the inside of the camper & their toes towards the bunkend window, my thought was it would keep them warmer.  Who knows.  At any rate, neither has to climb over the other to get in or out of bed  ;)

We sleep on largest bunk with our head towards the galley.  Feel like I'm in a box with my head at the other end!  Hoppy you sound like up.  I hit the hay early with the two dogs and hubby gets whatever space is left.  Our male border collie will take a swipe at hubby if he tries to move him when he is in a deep sleep. :eyecrazy:  We have tried to get the dogs to sleep on the other bunk, nope!  We are camping and that means sleeping with mom and dad!

Hey Chip! That's what we do too. Since DD is now in college we have the camper to ourselves. DH takes the back bunk (canvas to canvas) and I take the front bunk with the dog. Like you said ...no worries when either has to get up in the middle of the night. AND it is great to be able to stretch ooooouuuutttt! AAhh! :D

Sleep side to side, with heads on door side of camper. I sleep on the inside (closest to door) as I am usually the last to go to bed, plus I am a hosehead (Sleep Apnea) and makes it easier to put my CPAP on counter beside bed. (Also keeps DW from getting strangled in the hose!!) PLUS at 6'3" and 240 lbs, I'm afraid the whole darn camper would stand on its nose if I tried sleeping in the outboard position!!!
