Dee, if Ken can't get off and if you can get to Central Jersey, I could pick you up and we could take the Bantam...Not as roomy as your's but bigger than the Cabin A...IF this is where we are going for the first weekend in Nov...

You all and I (and anyone else) can do this one anytime, just tell me when. I perfer NON-Holidays.

wynot

Like Tracy said, Sara does the first weekend in Nov... :p  When we last talked, she was still interested in Elk Neck for that weekend, but since she is the coordinator...

I know we camped at Spring Gulch and didn't care for it, but that was years ago.  Maybe it would look different to us now.

We had a devil of a time finding Shady Maple the last time we were up there (this summer), despite having been there before - gotta stop taking longcuts in PA.

Eagle's Peak?  If I never go there again, that will be just fine...

Wow, I guess first I should say that I haven't been to eagles peak yet but my parents have been there twice this year and had nothing bad to say.  After hearing the responses, I am wondering if I should go.

SheBantam

We had several good trips there prior, but the experience at the fall PUT rally that year AND the distance, and we wrote it off.

Hey you said the campsite was free, then by all means go. YOU have to see what it is like and depending on who is there,it can be a good experience or a not so good one.

We had a collective experience, and I am not sure how many have gone back since.

Raymond Like Tall Pines at Lewes and I think the sites are small and crammed up...so beauty is in the eye of the beholder, a good campground is in the sys of the camper.

So far I have stayed away from Spring Gulch and Lake-in-Wood because of the size and commercial campgrounds, though they have more amenities, are generally also smaller sites.  Smaller sites = more people crammed in per acre...
