Wow, you all just keep those germs! Better yet get rid of them! That's the only part of winter I hate... everyone is germy...  That why we need to get out in the fresh air and get rid of those germs...

I am glad to see you are feeling better waverly... and scoutermom, you need to get better soon, can't take that camping time away...

I have been winterized for  2 months now and starting to go crazy... I need to go camping...  :eyecrazy:   Might just have to sleep in front of the fireplace in the livingroom...  Just to smell the smoke from a fire might ease my craving.. Or it could make it worse...

Holly and I are also recovering from a GI bug. Fortunately, we had a friend who volunteered to keep Jessie overnight so we could spend our night in the bathroom. :eyecrazy:

Most of our camping is simply my girls and me. DH goes along once in a while--does help with the set up and take down--but seriously, we're fine alone too.

Wow, sorry to hear everyone's gotten so sick!  Man, serious stuff there.  Hope you are all doing better soon.

Our camping trips usually consist of long weekends since DH hasn't been able to take off a lot of time lately (except for the big 1-weeker when we go to Maine).  So, the boys and I usually will get there on a Weds or Thurs and set up.  DH joins us directly from work on Friday, sleeps over Fri & Sat, then either go home on Sunday or commutes Mon morning (usually if it's under 2 hours).  We usually will leave later Monday (to avoid traffic).
