Very, Very nice job - it looks beautiful!

( I also had carpet in mine - why would anyone want carpet in a camper???? of course, mine was very old and very dirty, but even new, I don't like carpet while camping. Messy.)

Thanks for the compliments everyone.

Carpet is messy. Ours must have had 5# of sand in and under the carpet. Taking it out was a real mess. I was SOOOOOOOO glad to see it go. I wish that I would have taken it out when we first bought that camper and just went without until I had the time to install the new floor.

Hey why don't you just bring the camper with the new floor installed instead  :J

Carolyn told me that someone would post that. We will actually bring 37 pieces......36 on the floor of the camper and one (unused one) for show & tell.... :p

Quote from: waveryYou may be kidding but I may start using this stuff in our apartments and I may put it in our Fallbrook home. It is far more durable than laminate or real hardwood. It's practically indestructible. I can't even imagine how one could possibly damage it.

I'll bring a piece to the JoshuaTree camp-out.

no I wasn't kidding..I hate my carpet, I was thinking about ripping it up and just having cement floor and throw a rug on it. unfortuetly it's not in our budget anytime in the near future. :(

Ya right....cut back by 1 blue bomber per night at each camp-out and that floor will be payed for in no time..... :p

Hey Dee,
I had bare cement and area rugs in my house for about a year before I finally did something with the floors, except the bedrooms which I had done before I moved in.
If I do work on our camper, I might seriously look into this product.

Did you have to remove the door threshold to get the floor under?
Looks fantastic!

Ya......just 5 screws.
It was the 150 staples that held the carpet down that was a bitch :swear: . I had to pull out ever single one of them with a vise-grip, sharpened on the grinder to get close to the floor to grab that thing that was sticking up 1/32" and strands of carpet that kept me from getting a grip on each and every one of those little buggers... :banghead:

I'm still trying to find the guy that ran that staple gun at the factory :Z ...............................with my luck........he retired last year.... :swear:

Hey Wayne, I cannot find this product available at Lowes in the Dallas area. Will you please send me the info you have off the carton. Maybe there is a manufacurer # or the exact name of the product. I am very interested in taking the berber carpet out of my popup as well. I cannot stand it any longer! Thanks for any help you can give. Robert
