I saw one of these in our Wal-Mart garden center tongiht.  Looked really cool, you got the features of a grill to go, that is mounted on top of a wheelie cool.  It was nice, the cooler was on bottom, and the grill slid down two poles, and sat on top of the cooler while in transit.  So you just pulled your wheelie cool around, and then a grill " popped"  up out of the top.  Nice price tag on it though, $199.

I checked it out, but it just isn t really worth it to us, we prefer charcoal, and we already have so many coolers it s ridiculous.  Might be great for someone just starting out though, that needs a good cooler, and could use a nice grill.  The grill/griddle combo could easily replace a skillet and a grill.  I could definitely see me grilling steaks and making toast, or putting bacon on the grill and frying eggs in the morning.  Yum!  One of those and your outside mounted stove, and you could make about anything you wanted to!

startxLet s see, the George Forman with ice wannabe. Notice that the $300 price tag is already down to $199 after only a few months.
Even at that you could buy a stove, griddle, gas grill, 2 extreme ice chests and still have money for camping left over.
Just another toy for those that either have to have the latest gadget or just want it for attention value as in," look at the cool thing I got"  whether it s any good or over priced.

startxI have to admit Mike, the thing did look cool, but it was sure a lot of plastic for the price.  I just didn t see paying the price for it, but then I don t see paying the price for the grill to go, I MIGHT, if we didn t already have so much camping stuff.

 startxHowdy[:D],

We have this Fall Campout every year and this one guy has the " Grill to Go" .  Yeah, it s really neat, but I don t have use for one, myself.  I m just glad when he shows up with it, because then he gets to cook the " Goetta"  and bacon for our breakfasts.

You see, I use my 20"  steel frying pan to cook sausage, pancakes and eggs over a wood fire or over my 22 1/2 "  Weber Grill.  The " Goetta"  is a pain to cook if you don t have a non-stick pan... it and the bacon screws up the seasoned finish on my pan when I have to cook them.[:o]

Now take those turkey fryers...I d love to have one of them!  But I d only have occassion to use it once or twice a year.  I d be buying new oil every time.

startxWe have a turkey fryer, but it s a pain in the behind to take it with us.

startxYes , seen it at Walmart this pass weekend for $198.00. I liked it but like everything we do we wait for awhile to see if the price goes down some. It is a good idea.. Currently counting the stoves with the trailer I have six. I am not in any hurry.[&:]
