A simple thing to put in... A great thing to have for haning stuff to keep dry!

Little screw hooks... Had thought of putting a rop between them and using that to hang a simple tarp....

Have not Tried closing the bunks yet, we ll see...

Been getting lots of rain on this trip getting " Creative"  on finding a way to keep things dry....

Brought along a little fan w/electric heat option... Great for taking the dampness out of the air and for running of cold wet shoes to dry them off through out the day!

 Joe GleasonJoe,
Our Viking came with the bunk end storage tarp. It is held on by Velcro. You may want to try using a staple gun and put the velcro on the bottom of the bunk and sew or glue onto tarp and attach. They seem to work well for us. Beds slide in without any interference. Just thought I would share that with you.

Joe GleasonI had the little cup hooks under the bunk ends, if we ever meet I ll show you the scars on my hand from them. They re too easy to forget when you re opening/closing. If you want something heavier than velcro will support look at small eye hooks. They have a closed circle and need a hook to use with them or thread line through them, but your fingers and hands won t look like mine.

Joe GleasonWe have a small folding wooden clothes rack to hang stuff on when we camp.  I will fit under the bunkend or awning if it is raining.

Joe GleasonIs thereany problem pushing the bunk ends back in with those hooks on the bottom?

mike4947

Joe GleasonThe only time I had a problem is when the hooks or eyes hung below the side rails. So I d just sight across from side to side and if I saw anything I d screw them in farther.

Joe GleasonMake sure you don t screw them in too far and ending up coming through the wood and into the mattress.

Joe Gleasonwe used snaps on our bunkends ez to do and ez to put into the trap too (we got leather like, material from Walmart and made our own skirt) and does not wear out like velco, and doesn t get caught on anything like hooks!  i like the dryer rack under the bunkends i always use a rope from from corner to corner in an  x  pattern

Joe GleasonSo could you hang a wire shelf from the bunkend hooks--maybe suspended by a chain or rope?
