RE: Carwash for PU s?

Before I run the PU through the spray it and brush it yourself carwash booth.....any things that I should be aware of? I m just assuming that this will work out fine but I ve never dealt well with those hard lessons learned through stupidity.
 
 We have roof AC & slide out. I ll just take it easy with the pressure sprayer.

Especially on the stick on decals on the side of your Utah.
 They don t take kindly to pressure sprayers.

 6Quigs has it about right. Make sure you avoid the decals. Also make sure you have your roof tightly sealed so you don t spray water into the interior. I recommend angling the wand downward when you re near the bottom of the roof.

If you can it s not a bad idea to pop it up when you get home from the carwash. A few minutes checking things like inside the cabinets for leaks from under the PU and drips from seals is better than finding a mildewed mess a month later just when you re going to pack up and go.

I d be careful not to spray the areas around the refrigerator vent, hot water vent and especially where the slideout corners are.  Hadn t thought about the decals but we usually just use the spray and not the " jet"  (except on the tires and hubs).  
 
 We have to get ours washed sometime today since we are leaving in the morning.  I m sure the rain is not going to get that red mud off the rims.

If you are in an area that uses salt on the roads, be very aware of car washes that recycle the water. The salt content can be far greater than seawater!!!
