awwwww, shoot, i was just jokin ya!!!![8D] but seriously, here in central illinois, we have had plenty of rain, and several days of 70 degree weather. altho there aren`t any buds on the flowering crab trees, the buds on the redbud trees are about 1/4" . by all the signs that i know of, it should be less than a week until i start finding them even with the forecasted cool down later this week. don`t worry all, i will be sure and report my findings, and let ya know just how good they _WERE_!!!!!!!  []

I ve heard people mention them before, but wouldn t have a clue what to look for and I know better than to go pickin  somethin  that I don t know what it is.  I love mushrooms, so I am jealous of those of you that go find these.

I was thinking that we might have to wait a little longer to find them around here, as we haven t had that kind of warmth yet, but it shouldn t be too long.  I m really looking forward to having some.   Isn t there some way to send them via email?
