A friend of mine recommended this site to purchase telephone minutes.

 Just wondering if anyone has used this service and if you were satisfied with it.
 
 DS is in Australia for a few months and I am looking for a cheap way to call him.  
 
 Made one call and it was $3.16 a minute.  (Ouch)  BigZoo is advertising about 6 cents a minute.

I also have freinds in Australia.  Does he have a PC?  We put yahoo messinger on our computers.  You can talk to him using it by either typing OR using voice which you would need a mic.  Also if you both have a cam you can see each other also.  The best part is that it is absolutly free.  We can talk for hours and it won t cost a dime.
 
 My phone bills went from about $150 a month to about $20.  It has helped me a lot.[]

The price of  a mic was so worth it for when our son moved. Long distance bills went through the roof. With msn messenger we are able to talk voice no bills.
 Of course both parties need mics and speakers.

Thanks for the pc advice but he doesn t have access to a pc all the time.  His time on a pc is very limited and we hope to use IM when we can.
 
 He does have a cell phone which makes it easier to contact him.
