Well last night we bit the bullet and ordered a 2004 -- Starcraft 3606 Centennial.  I think we got every bell and whistle available.  We decided that if we were going to go for it, we might as well go all out.

The back log on them right now is 2 - 3 weeks -- so we re keeping our fingers crossed.

angelsmom10congrats! i would of gone with that unit too, but we went with the hyrid for the convenience , we camp and travel a lot, and it always seems to rain when poping up or down[:(]

angelsmom10We saw a 3604 at the dealer about 2 weeks ago.  What a big unit that is! First PU I ve ever seen with diamond plate on it. I found the step up into the slideout to be more then I d like to deal with, but the inside of it was unlike anything we had ever seen in a PU. Certainly looked more like a TT to me. Good luck with it!

angelsmom10Congratulations on the great camper.  Are you getting it in white or in wood color?

angelsmom10Congratulations on your new Popup!  We hope to pick ours up Thursday weather permitting.  Like you we are really excited.

Are you getting the heater strips installed in your AC?  Dealer quoted us $125 plus installation for them.  I called around the other local dealers and they were quoting between $30 and $40 for heater strips.  Was wondering if you asked your dealer about them?

Gamecock Camper

angelsmom10Cool camper.  I guess you had a good experience with Starcraft as you are getting another one.  Congrads.  It really looks nice..... and I like the built in microwave.

Didn t know it came in 2 colors -- the only ones we ve seen has the white interior and it makes it so bright.

angelsmom10Use the heater strips instead of your gas furnace to take the chill off a cool morning etc.  Useful if camping where you have electic hookup.  Some camp grounds add a surcharge of a dollar or two a day if they know you are using heat strips or other electric heaters.

We paid $10,000 for the 3600 before tax, etc.  That included:

Base trailer (includes 3 way refrigerator, hot water heater, 3 burner stove, battery gauge, water pump, dual 20# propane tanks w/ regulator, etc.)
Convenience package (includes Fantastic vent fan, sand pads, privacy curtains, etc.)
 11  A&E Deluxe Awning
 16 M BTU Furnace w/ Electronic ignition
 Aluminum Wheels
A/C prep with second bar & Wire
Deluxe Package (which includes a bunk fan light)
1 x additional bunk fan light
11  A&E screen room with privacy flaps
 Outside shower
Exterior storage drawer (goes in the front trunk)
 Microwave oven
 Gas Oven
 AM/FM Radio w/ CD player
13.5 M BTU Air Conditioner + heat strip (mounted on back half of the roof and the Fantastic vent fan is mounted on the front half of the roof)

Like most dealers, ours has starter packages etc which they " throw"  in, we chose:

 RVQ
Starter package - water pressure regulator, chocks, 30 to 15 amp adapter, level, water hoses, port-a-potty, 12 volt battery, etc.
