RE: Credit Card offer for $100,000

Received a credit card offer from Disney Visa for $100,000. Started to just tear it up and throw it in the trash, but just wanted to read and see what they had to say.

Took it to my DH and told him I wanted to get this card, he said " Yeah, right." I said " Your not reading the application" .

It was for our 9 year old daughter[

NCSunshineI sure could use one of them 100,000 credit cards ! let me see, a nice tow vehicle, a nice PU, pay down some small debts and CAMP !!!!!!!!!!

If they ask for the money back, I could always let DD answer the phone [8D]

wahooncThis is very interesting, my 13 yr old received a credit card offer through Disney also last week and I was not happy about it. We had made reservations through Disney a few months ago for Camp Wilderness. I don t like that they are now marketing my teen and I hope they don t now sell off her name to other marketing groups. Personally I m not happy about it. Do I contact Disney directly to complain?

I did that, but went as far as to use the dogs birthdate. The funny part is my dog is under 21 and it was for a game sight.
I then got directed to the childrens games area when logged on!!!!

That would be a good place to start and tell them to take her/you off all marketing list.

NCSunshineIf you stressed her minor age status, they should accomodate you. I would think that Disney has to be thinking about potential liability for these kinds of things if they didn t make nice with you.
