RE: First trip of the year, maybe???

If the Doctor clears DS to travel we will be leaving this evening and driving 300 miles to Assateague Island.  I will " see"  you when we get back.

 We (actually I) have the first trip behind me. Went to Yogi Bear at Tall Pines in Elmer NJ last weekend.  We started talking about it here, before the changes were made and it was then planned on PUX. We had a good time, wonderful campground for kids, lots for them to do (planned activities).
 
 I took the popup instead of the hybrid...never again when trying to set up by myself when it is chilly (canvas just does not want to stretch) and the Jayco awning was a pain. I forgot to do a lot of things while setting up. (I did go back home Saturday, a whole 20 miles, to get my blood pressure pills and Jeffrey to help me do what I could not the day before)
 
 WE have our first trip this weekend. Will be meeting Cliff, and others in Newport News Park for the long weekend. Sunday it will be me and Jeffrey as Raymond is going back home, he could not get vacation for Monday and Tues. Hope to follow TJWSantafe from south of DC to park. Gotta get the family moving to have everything packed Thursday night, then all I have to do is load the one cooler, stuff it in the back of the truck and take off...
