[:D][:D]The " big day"  finally arrived yesterday and we picked up our Cheyenne.
After our walk thu we hit the road on the way home.  100 yards onto the road I hit the van brakes for traffic and was greeted by a screech and smoke show from the trailer tires.  At this point I attempt to adjust the controller while DW yells " I thought you knew what you were doing" .  After several failed attempts to adjust the brake controller I make a U turn in a park and ride area at rush hour.  DW hid face with magazine as I squealed intermittently during the turn.  When we returned to the dealer(at closing time) the shop crew told me I had to adjust the controller(DUH).  Then they decided that the controller was bad.  So ... after changing the controller we were on our way home.  The second try to leave went much smoother and the van did well(much to my relief).
Just wanted to say that we finally have our PU.
It is now set up in the backyard(as a bribe during potty training I am offering to sleep in it with DD if she uses the pot).  Hopefully DD earns her reward ![;)]

farmerCongratulations on your new camper!  Glad things got corrected with your brake controller before you got too far.

Having the potty on board will CERTAINLY make potty training easier on you!  Now get out there and camp! [:D]

farmerOhhh Cool Idea, I think we re " almost"  ready to potty train. I ll have to remember that bribe. We don t have the potty, but we do have a port-a-potty in ours

Oh yes, nothing like a little tension at the start of adventure to see who will be supportive and who will hide their faces in the magazines.

Glad you got the controller replaced and can have nothing but good adventures from now on.

 farmerThanks for the nice responses.[:)]
We don t acutally have a potty on board.  DD just has to use the one inside then we ll sleep outside.  We will get a porta-potty before our first outing(last weekend in May).
So far DD is still having mistakes in her " big girl unders" .  Looks like we ll be doing Pull-ups tonight in the toddler bed inside and then really building up the excitement for sleeping outside Sat. night if she uses the " pot"  tomorow.  Sat. night is the last chance for sleeping outside because I go to work at 3 AM and DW has to sleep inside to listen for DD # 2 on monitor.  Hopefully DD # 1 gets the idea tomorrow.[;)]
