Ok, I know this has been discussed before. I did a search and found only 2. The Coleman set and the T-Fal set. I have been using some old 28 year old teflon pans and the teflon is rubbing off from all the jostling around. It is covered with a silver powder all the time . They do not nest so traveling is hard on them. I want to get some new ones that won t do this and that are nesting. (I can have new little pots and pans[:D]) Anyway, WHAT DO YOU ALL USE--HELP! PI

PIWe bought a set of Walmart cheapies -- one big pot, a small one and a coffee pot.  We also got two dutch ovens and a cast iron fry pan and griddle.  The cast iron stuff we got as a set from CostCo for maybe $25.

I used to use thrift shop pots and pans[:o]...Then I got married[8D][:D]

These can be found at most backpacking type stores as well as places like Camping World or Campmor.   www.campmor.com

PIWe use the cheap non-stick ones from W-M.  It has frying pan, two sauce pots, and a dutch oven.  Cost between 20 and 30 bucks, I think.

PII have a couple of cast iron frying pans and I just got a new cast iron 12 square griddle.  I also have an aluminum set of 2 pans and one bigger pot for pasta.

I got the Coleman s. They do nest. The whole set takes up a space 10 x 10 x 7 inches. This is a 10"  Frying pan, 6.5 qt. kettle, 2 qt. saucepan, and the handle! Oh and lids also.

I didn t think I d like the removable handle, but you don t have to fight for " handle"  room on the camper stove. I like  em!

PIWe use an earlier generation of [link=http://www.campmor.com/webapp/commerce/command/ProductDisplay?prmenbr=226&prrfnbr=13648]THIS SET[/link]. We also have a 12"  square 1-1/2"  deep teflon coated fry pan (found at Target) and a Coleman teflon coated griddle. None of those " french owned t-fal"  things for US! [:o][;)][:(]

PI

PIThanks all for all your help. I noticed the t-Fal were about 30.00 and the Colman was about 29.00. I will look into the suggestions you gave some more. They are all nice sets. Decision making time. I threw mine in the recycle wagon today.

tlhdocI m with you, Doc.  Cast iron is what I like to primarily use, since it s the best non-stick ever invented.  [:)]

PopUpTrio

PII have a set of T-Fal that has the removable handles.  I really like them and they take up very little room as they nest well.  They also came with plastic lids so they can be used to cook, serve and store food.  A little pricey for camping but worth it for the convenience.

Welshie

PII asked this question earlier and ended up getting the T-Fal, Engenio set.  It is really nice and everything stacks inside itself.  It also has covers that fit tightly so you can use them as storage conatainers too.
