Turn Key

Well, after much looking and thinking, DW and I finally broke down and got a new TV.  Will take delivery next week of a  03 Chevy 2500HD, 4X4, X-Cab, Long Bed (Dang, that s a mouth-full).  Couldn t pass up that " Zero Interest"  offer and will actually SAVE me $1620.00 over the life of the loan, as apposed to taking the $3000.00 cash back option.  Plus my money gets to stay in the bank.  Can t beat that with a stick.  Didn t get as much as I would have liked for the S-10 but he gave me about 1/3 over the bluebook value and I won t have to fool with it.

Guess I ll have to change my signature line.  It s such a tough old life![:D]

Turn KeyGee... do you think it will pull the popup?  Or are you just planning on tossing the popup in the back and carrying it now with that bad boy?  What color Harry?

Turn Key

Turn KeyPewter (silver) with a charcoal gray interior.
Hadn t thought of putting the PU in the back.  It would save wear & tear on the tires and I d never have to worry about the bearings, again[:D].

Turn KeyOoooooooooh, that s a schweeeeet truck! You know the best thing about it? You can go down to the home center and say you want some ready-mix concrete. " How many bags?"  the guy will ask you.

Then you get to say something off the cuff, like: " Well, think I m gunna need to make two trips, just get the forklift and put the whole dang pallet in the back for starters..."

Hey, it doesn t matter if you really want some ready-mix or not. Just being able to say that line, if you want to, makes all the difference in the world.

 Congrats on the new truck!

 So true!  So true! [:D]

 Thanks.

Turn KeyCongratulations on the new TV.  I love the color combination.

Turn KeyThose are some awesome trucks! I think you could pull the whole Coleman line with it (all at once).

I don t think I saw it anywhere...did you get the gas or diesel engine?

 Larry

Turn Key

Turn KeyLarry, Got the gas.  just couldn t justify and extra $4K for the diesel, and believe me, DW and tried HARD.  Just felt the cost to benefit ratio didn t work.  We re not in the market for a trailer that would require that kind of " pulll" .

Turn KeyYeah....I agree. Those diesels sound sweet (the newer Duramaxes sound better than the older ones), but if all you need is a nice big truck, then you got it!
